Derek Salvino leads Tradition Energy’s Market Research Group. The Group is responsible for developing the primary market analysis and forecasts for which Tradition is renowned, and for directly advising clients accordingly. Mr. Salvino is a veteran of the energy commodity business, having previously held positions as Director of Power Fundamentals at Direct Energy, Exelon, Macquarie, ICF International, and Platts. Mr. Salvino has been in the energy business for 15 years and is regularly quoted by national media outlets as well as a being a frequent contributor to the Annual Electric Market Forecasting Conference. Mr. Salvino is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he obtained a MS of Energy, Environment, and Mineral Economics.
