Dallas, TX, August 1, 2013 – Recently, Tradition Energy Dallas staffers volunteered to help support Vogel Alcove, a provider of free quality development services for Dallas’ youngest victims of poverty: homeless children 6 weeks to 5 years old.
The children supported by Vogel Alcove live in emergency shelters, housing programs or domestic violence havens. Every day, Vogel Alcove cares for approximately 115 children along with their families. Their mission is to provide homeless children the foundation for success.
The Dallas team volunteers each week as a part of Tradition Energy’s ongoing corporate commitment to community service.
“Our team was proud to participate in our first Vogel Alcove Back To School Donation Drive,” said Michael Ayala, Senior Director, Tradition Energy Dallas. “Our efforts resulted in providing a new backpack full of brand new school supplies along with school outfits for all 14 Vogel Alcove children entering kindergarten this fall. We are excited to ensure each of these children will have a seamless transition into public school.”
