Corteva Agriscience Engages Tradition Energy For Strategic Risk Management and Procurement

Energy Consulting Services To Cover More Than 30 Sites

Stamford, Connecticut, November 4, 2021 –  Tradition Energy announces it has been hired by Corteva, Inc., (NYSE: CTVA), a publicly-traded, global agriculture company and previously the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, to provide energy risk management and procurement services for more than 30 of Corteva’s sites in North America.

Tradition Energy will collaborate with Corteva on a comprehensive strategic assessment and plan to identify the factors, risks, and benefits that affect energy procurement decisions and the potential financial outcomes for the agriculture company. Electricity and natural gas demand across Corteva’s sites is in the hundreds of millions of kilowatt-hours, making an expert procurement strategy a high priority.

“We are looking forward to coordinating a strategic approach to managing energy supply to mitigate the effects of rising energy prices for Corteva, said Alan Kurzer, CEO, Tradition Energy. “It’s during periods of high volatility and increasing prices when a holistic company-wide strategic approach can deliver the greatest value.”
