Stamford, Connecticut, August 10, 2020 – Tradition Energy congratulates its sponsored professional golfer, Joel Dahmen, who shot four rounds in the 60s, and ended up 8 under par to achieve his best finish in a major. His final round score on Sunday with his lowest of the tournament, a 3-under 67 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco.
The PGA Championship Tournament was Dahmen’s fourth career major. He is now 59th on the Official World Golf Rankings.
Joel played golf for the University of Washington, and after turning pro in 2010 and playing on the Canadian Tour, he was sidelined with testicular cancer. Refusing to let cancer control his life, he began the long road to the PGA through the PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamérica and then the Web.com Tour. In 2016, after placing in the top 25 on the Web.com Tour, he earned his PGA Tour card for the 2017 season.
