Tradition Energy’s Armstrong to join CNBC live from OPEC meeting in Vienna, Austria

Stamford, CT, June 7, 2011 — Tradition Energy, one of the world’s largest energy procurement advisors and a subsidiary of Compagnie Financière Tradition, announced today that Addison Armstrong, Sr. Director of Market Research, will be participating in a live panel discussion on CNBCand making other appearances from the OPEC Meeting in Vienna, Austria, on Wednesday June 8th. Armstrong will be joining CNBC anchor, Melissa Francis, as she hosts “The Call” beginning at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.

CNBC anchors, reporters and experts, including Armstrong, will analyze the latest developments from the OPEC meeting, and discuss what the impacts will be for the price of oil.

This is a critical meeting for OPEC, complicated by hostilities in Libya that have caused more than one million barrels per day of supply to disappear from the global oil market. Also, it is the first time since Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 that some members of the cartel are supporting rebels that are trying to topple the government of a fellow member. This contentious backdrop poses a difficulty for the producer group at a time when oil is trading near $100 a barrel amid growing concern that the pace of global economic growth may be slowing.

Armstrong’s comments from Vienna will be recorded and available at www.TraditionEnergy.com.
