Prominent group of industry leaders discussed various issues facing retail markets
Houston, TX – April 23, 2015 — Today, Dan Montgomery, Senior Director, Tradition Energy, participated on a panel at the Swiss Re Environmental and Commodity Markets Houston Spring Symposium 2015, which was held at the Julia Ideson Houston Public Library, downtown. Mr. Montgomery was joined by industry leaders representing NRG Energy, Just Energy, and DNV GL (Formerly known as KEMA).
Subjects discussed by panel included the current retail pricing environment, value-added retailer offerings, the wholesale power and natural gas environment, issues related to credit and contracts, and Texas (ERCOT) wholesale and retail market trends.
“The retail energy panel was very informative because it touched on the most important areas currently contributing to the growth of the ERCOT market,” said Mr. Montgomery. “As an unbiased advisor to end users in Texas, I was able to help highlight how these growth areas are benefiting our clients and helping to control and reduce their costs.”
