Energy Consulting Services Contract Will Help Colleges Reduce Energy Costs
Stamford, CT, October 8 – The Texas Community College Cooperative Purchasing Network recently announced the selection of Tradition Energy as the winner of a new contract for Energy Consulting Services. The “Network”, a statewide cooperative purchasing organization consisting of the 50 Texas Association of Community Colleges members, made the decision to award exclusively to Tradition Energy after conducting a competitive RFP solicitation in June.
Consulting services delivered through the contract include:
“Enrollments among the State’s community colleges continue to grow, and with it the strain on operational costs and budgets. As the new Energy Management Advisor for the Network, Tradition Energy is excited to assist the member colleges in controlling and managing their energy costs and exposure,” said Bob Wooten, Director of Government Accounts at Tradition Energy.
“The Network was very impressed with both the number and quality of energy firms responding to our RFP,” commented Charles Oberrender, Director of Cooperative Purchasing, Texas Association of Community Colleges. “Tradition’s high quality response and past experience with colleges, including some of our largest members, definitely elevated them to the top.”
Tradition Energy has begun working with the Network to introduce the Energy Consulting Services contract details to members via online and face-to-face meetings.
